Virginia Wetherell is an English actress best known for her roles in Hammer horror films such as Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde and Demons of the Mind. Her other film appearances include Curse of the Crimson Altar, Man of Violence, Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange, Disciple of Death, and the TV film Dracula. On television, she was a regular cast member in The Troubleshooters as Julie Serres, and played Dyoni in the Doctor Who serial The Daleks in the series' first season. Wetherell was married to actor Ralph Bates from 1973 until his death from cancer in 1991. Both their children, Daisy and William Bates, are also actors.
