Description
Marlon Nathaniel Samuels is a West Indian cricketer. He is primarily a right-handed middle order batsman. Samuels made his Test debut in Australia in 2000, and his One Day International debut against Sri Lanka in Nairobi during the ICC Knockout Trophy in the same year.
At the launch of the Caribbean Premier League he was announced as one of the first franchise players for the 2013 tournament.
On 10 April 2013 he was named one of the Wisden cricketers of the year in 2013.
